Apartment Investment and Management Company (NYSE: AIV) promoted Tim Beaudin to president and chief operating officer. The company also promoted David Robertson to president and chief investment officer and chief financial officer.

Associated Estates Realty Corp. (NYSE: AEC) named Michelle Creger to the newly created position of vice president, associate general counsel. Previously, Creger was vice president of human resources at U-Store-It Trust (NYSE: YSI).

BRE Properties, Inc. (NYSE: BRE) promoted Peter Olson to senior vice president, chief accounting officer. He was formerly vice president, controller.

Peter Dawson was promoted to CEO of Brixton PLC (BXTN. LN), replacing Tim Wheeler. Previously, Dawson was the REIT’s investment director.

CBL & Associates Properties, Inc. (NYSE: CBL) announced a series of promotions. Alan Lebovitz is now senior vice president—asset management; Maggie Carrington is now vice president—human resources; and Katie Reinsmidt is now vice president—corporate communications and investor relations.

Cogdell Spencer Inc. (NYSE: CSA) promoted Matthew Nurkin to president of the Mid-Atlantic region of Erdman, a

Cogdell Spencer-owned company.

Cousins Properties Inc. (NYSE: CUZ) named Larry Gellerstedt president and COO, replacing Dan DuPree. Previously, Gellerstedt was executive vice president and chief development officer.

Bradley Sandidge was appointed executive vice president of accounting of Colonial Properties Trust (N YSE: CLP). Previously, he was senior vice president, multifamily accounting and finance.

Duke Realty Corporation (NYSE: DRE) appointed Christie B. Kelly as executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Extra Space Storage (NYSE: EXR) announced that Chairman and CEO Kenneth Woolley is taking a three-year leave from the company’s management team. President Spencer Kirk will succeed him as chairman and CEO.

HCP (NYSE: HCP) hired Thomas M. Herzog as executive vice president—chief financial officer. Previously, he was with Apartment Investment and Management Company as executive vice president and CFO.
